Controlled Traffic Farming across Europe

CTF 2015 - Call for Poster and Papers

Dear researches, academics and students!
We would like to invite you to present your experiences and research results in the area of Controlled Traffic Farming, soil compaction, field machinery traffic and related topics.
The main objective of our conference is to exchange experiences and ideas between farmers. Here you will get an excellent opportunity to discuss your research with practical farmers.

There will be two options of presenting your work at the CTF 2015. You can use one, or both of following possibilities:

1. Presenting a poster.
You are invited to submit an abstract by 15 May 2015 to: jana.galambosova@uniag.sk. Please put as subject of email message: CTF2015.

The abstract can be up to two pages long using this downloadable template. Photos and tables with main results are welcome. We suggest that you do not describe in detail the methods used, as the readers will primarily be farmers. Just before the poster sessions you will be invited to give a one minute oral presentation of your work. You can use one PowerPoint slide for this presentation.

The abstract will be published in the CTF Europe section of the Smart Agri Platform.

The instructions for posters will be published soon.

2. Publishing a peer-reviewed paper
Authors, who report on research results are invited to submit their full paper by 1 June 2015 to be considered for publishing in the scientific journal of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra: : ACTA TECHNOLOGICA AGRICULURAE (ATA) - in a special issue published in September 2015. Publishing of submitted papers is not guaranteed, it will depend on the reviewing process of the journal. There will be no additional fee for publishing in the journal.
